Rehabilitation Center
The Rehabilitation Center at Our Lady of the Lake is a fully accredited, 47-bed comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation unit for adults ages 18 and older with physical, cognitive and communicative limits. Our goal is to help patients regain mobility, restore function, reduce pain and adjust emotionally after life-altering illness or injury.

Through early intervention, treatment with specialized equipment and extensive patient/family education, patients gain optimal independence in a reasonable amount of recovery time. We offer a comprehensive, proven program for patients with the following:

- Specialized gait training equipment, including Golvo unweighted system
- Computerized and biofeedback technologies, including VitalStim®and E-Stim
- Advanced diagnostic equipment, including ultrasound and videofluoroscopic swallow studies

The Rehabilitation Center offers a variety of support services, amenities and conveniences for patients and their families, including:
- Private-room setting that allows for visitation by friends and family
- Weekly care planning conferences with interdisciplinary treatment teams
- One-on-one patient/family education and/or training sessions
- Community re-entry training environments, including a fully functional apartment and onsite washer/dryer for patient/family use
- Comprehensive discharge planning
