Outpatient Surgery

At Our Lady of the Lake, outpatient surgery provides the safety of a short stay procedure with the assurance that you'll have every medical resource available to you. Advancements in medical technology allow patients to recover more quickly and safely than ever before.

When it's time for the patient to go into surgery, the family is escorted to a private area to wait comfortably both before surgery and during recovery. These rooms are staffed with volunteers who give regular updates, and include a sitting area where family members can remain with the patient.
